UNION CO., N.C. — Classes at Union Day School (UDS) will be canceled for the rest of the week due to a lack of available staff, according to a statement sent by school officials to UDS families.
The UDS Board Of Directors released the statement late Wednesday night to tell families that they are assessing the current situation and plan to reopen the school to students fully on Monday, October 25th.
UDS officials say the school calendar will be updated to make up for these days, and that they apologize for any inconvenience this closure may have caused.
This is a developing story.
