YORK CO., S.C. — S.C. Troopers say a pedestrian was killed Thursday night in York County when two cars hit the 21-year-old walking alongside Interstate-77 South.
Troopers say the driver of a 2021 Jeep SUV, Brandilyn Alexander, 40, and the driver of a 2018 Chevy SUV, Paula McMillan, 46, were both traveling southbound on I-77 when they struck a pedestrian walking in the far right hand lane.
Police say the 21-year-old victim from Marshville, whose identity has not yet been revealed, died at the scene after being struck twice around 9:30 p.m.
The investigation into this collision is active and ongoing.
