YORK CO., S.C. — S.C. Troopers are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision in York County after a driver of 2006 Honda Accord died when they crashed into a tree Friday morning.
Troopers say the Honda driver was heading south on Gordan Road near SC Highway 324 around 7:45 a.m., when they traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Investigators say the driver, who has not yet been identified, died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
