Panthers Fire Offensive Coordinator Joe Brady

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers have fired offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

Panthers officials announced the decision to let Brady go on Sunday, saying they hope to make a change on offense in the final five games of the season.

The team parted ways with Brady after he met with head coach Matt Rhule on Sunday morning.

“I met with Joe this morning and informed him that I have decided to make a change,” said Rhule. “I’m very grateful to him for his time and effort in helping us get established over this past year and a half.”

Officials say for the final five games of the year, senior offensive assistant Jeff Nixon will step in to coordinate the offense alongside the remaining offensive coaching staff.
