Another Warm Day Ahead of Cool Down

We will see one more day of spring-like temperatures before the winter chill makes a comeback.

With a southwest wind overnight low temperatures will only bottom out near 50 degrees. Patchy fog is possible Thursday morning. We will be able to enjoy another day with highs in the 70s before a strong cold front swings through. With the Carolinas being ahead of the cold front on Thursday, clouds and winds will increase through the afternoon. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. While this front will bring us a big cool down beginning Friday, it is starved for moisture so we only have a very slim chance to see an isolated shower Thursday evening.

High temperatures on Friday will only top out in the 40s and 50s with Saturday morning back to the 20s and 30s. We stay cool and dry through the weekend as a cool area of high pressure builds in.

* We should get a good view of the ISS tonight with the pass at 6:36 appearing in the SSW sky.

Tonight: Clear skies. Not as cold! Overnight patchy fog. Low: 51. Wind: Light 5-10.

Thursday: Partly cloudy. High: 75. Wind: SW 5-15.

Friday: Sunny and cool. High: 55. Wind: N 5-15.

Have a great week!

Kaitlin
