Discussion:

Although it’s a chilly start, we aren’t dealing with the wind like we were yesterday. Temps are near freezing across the area but will warm through the day. Highs will be near seasonable in the mid-60s this afternoon under sunny skies. High pressure will keep the clouds at bay, with temps rising to the low to mid-70s Wednesday and Thursday. Overnight lows will fall to the low 50s Thursday morning. A cold front will bring more clouds Thursday afternoon with a few scattered showers Thursday night. We won’t get enough rain to shake the drought, but any little bit helps. Temps will drop significantly Friday and Saturday with overnight lows near freezing and daytime highs only reaching the mid to upper 50s. Another front will bring more wet weather to the region Monday night, and if cold air reaches the mountains in time could see an inch or more of snow for the highest elevations. Still a long way out, but something to be watched by the weekend.
